James Maddison spotted as Tottenham traveling squad seen ahead of Man United showdown

Tottenham Hotspur midfielders James Maddison has travelled with the squad to Bilbao for their Europa League final against Manchester United despite previous reports he would be out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

In footage shared on the club's official social media, 21 players were seen boarding the first team bus on Monday evening ahead of the flight to Spain. Maddison's inclusion came as a surprise after manage Ange Postecoglou had earlier said he was sidelined.

The squad includes first-team stars such as Son Heung-Min, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Dominic Solanke. Young talents Callum Olusesi, Damola Ajayi, Mikey Moore, Dane Scarlett, Will Lankshear and Lucas Bergvall were also among thos travelling.

Matthys Tel, who arrived from Bayern Munich in January after turning down Manchester United, was also spotted.

With Maddison back in the mix, fans are now wondering if he could make a shock return for the final.
